Books with no sensible shelf.
We are interested in science fiction, soft science fiction, fantasy, LitRPG, progression fantasy, speculative comedy, weird fiction and the books produced when those categories stop observing personal boundaries.
The common feature is not a particular technology, creature or magic system. It is the feeling that a reader might finish the novel at two in the morning and then make it everyone else’s problem.
Originality still has to work
An unusual premise is only the beginning. We want novels with control, momentum and characters whose private needs matter when the universe becomes unreasonable.
We are looking for outliers with craft behind them—not unfinished experiments wearing an interesting hat.
