The books we publish will be written by human authors, edited by human editors, illustrated by human artists and performed by human narrators.
We will not accept generated or materially machine-rewritten prose. We will not use automated systems to rank, summarise or judge submitted manuscripts. We will not upload manuscripts for model training.
Ordinary tools remain ordinary
Spellcheck, dictation, screen readers and accessibility technology are welcome. Reasonable accommodations will be handled confidentially. The policy exists to protect human creative labour, not to police disabled writers or turn authorship into a purity test.
